Uniphyl is a prescription medicine used for the treatment of Asthma and other respiratory diseases. Uniphyl is a bronchodilator. This medication work by relaxing chest and lungs muscles and make lungs less sensitive to allergens. Uniphyl belongs to that class of medicine which is known as xanthines. Its rich ingredients is Theophylline. This medication does not work immediately and should not be used for any sudden attack of breathing. This medication can be used for other medical conditions as not mentioned on the label of medicine.

This medicine can interact with any other medicine like calcium channel, blockers, corticosteroids, ephedrine, influenza virus vaccine, macrolides, nonselective beta-adrenergic blockers, thiabendazole, barbiturates, rifampin, allopurinol, cimetidine, disulfiram, hormonal contraceptives, interferon, mexiletine, quinolones, aminoglutethimide, ketoconazole, sulfinpyrazone, Carbamazepine, loop diuretics, Hydantoins, Nondepolarizing muscle relaxants, Tetracyclines, rifampin, sympathomimetics , isoniazid, Halothane, Lithium and Propofol. Inform your doctor if you are using any prescription, non prescription and herbasl medicine as it can lead to some serious side effects.

How this medicine should be taken?
It ia s prescription medicine and should be taken as prescribed by your doctor and health care professionals. Take this medicine with a full glass of water with or without your meal. The dosage recommended for Uniphyl is 400 mg- 600 mg tablet once everyday. Try to take this medicine at the same time each day. Do not increase or decrease the dose of the medicine on your own without consulting your doctor. For better result take this medicine as prescribed and on time.

What should i know before taking Uniphyl?
Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to Uniphyl and to its ingredients. If you are suffering from fluid in your lungs, high fever, kidney disease, heart problem, stomach ulcer, thyroid, liver disease, marijuana, congestive heart failure and epilepsy you are not recommended to use this medication before consulting your doctor.
